Split Pay Community Heroes

How to nominate yourself or someone you know, who is eligible, how winners are chosen, and how awards are delivered.

Last updated October 4, 2026

No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning. This is a judged contest. Winners are selected based on the criteria below, not by chance. Void where prohibited.

2. Eligibility

The Campaign is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. This applies to both the person submitting a nomination ("Nominator") and the person nominated ("Nominee").

The following people are not eligible to win: employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor and Administrator; their parent companies, affiliates, and agencies; and the immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings) and household members of any of these people.

3. Campaign period

The Campaign begins on October 4, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. ET and ends on October 15, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET (the "Campaign Period"). Nominations received after the Campaign Period will not be considered. Administrator's computer clock is the official timekeeper for the Campaign.

4. How to enter

During the Campaign Period, visit jazzymac.com/splitpayheroes and complete the nomination form. You may nominate yourself or another eligible person. Each nomination must include:

  • The Nominator's name, email address, and a link to the Nominator's Instagram profile, Facebook profile, or both
  • The Nominee's name, email address, and relationship to the Nominator, if the Nominee is someone other than the Nominator
  • The Nominee's state of residence and the type of bill for which relief is requested
  • A written description of the Nominee's situation of up to 1,000 characters, and a written description of what the Nominee does for their community of up to 1,000 characters (together, the "Story")

The nomination form also asks for the monthly bill amount, the amount of help that would make a difference, the Nominee's household income range, and a few short questions from Sponsor about its product. All are required, except that you may choose "Not sure" or "Prefer not to say" for household income. Answers to Sponsor's product questions do not affect selection.

If you nominate someone else, you must have their permission to share their information and to have them contacted by Sponsor or Administrator.

Entry limits. Each person may submit one (1) nomination, either for themselves or for someone else. A Nominee may be nominated by more than one person, but can win only one (1) Award. Additional nominations from the same person will be disqualified.

Nominations that are incomplete, illegible, automated, or submitted in violation of these rules will be disqualified. Do not include Social Security numbers, account numbers, passwords, or other sensitive financial information in any nomination.

5. Judging

After the Campaign Period ends, Sponsor and Administrator will review all eligible nominations and select winners in their sole discretion. Factors considered may include, but are not limited to:

  • The Nominee's financial need and the difference an Award would make
  • The clarity and authenticity of the Story
  • The Story's connection to the Campaign's theme of community and everyday heroism
  • The Nominee's availability to attend the Split Pay Party on Zoom on October 21, 2026

No single factor is required or decisive. All selection decisions are final and binding.

6. Awards

Each winner will receive financial relief of up to $500 toward the bill identified in the winning nomination (the "Award"). Award amounts are determined by Sponsor and Administrator in their sole discretion, may vary between winners, and will not exceed the amount of the bill. Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, increase the value of any Award above $500, subject to that same limit. Sponsor and Administrator will select at least one (1) winner. The number of winners will be determined in their sole discretion.

The Award will be paid directly to the winner, by a payment method selected by Sponsor (such as check or electronic payment), after the winner completes verification as described in Section 7.

Awards are awarded to the Nominee, not the Nominator. Awards cannot be transferred or substituted, except that Sponsor may substitute an award of equal or greater value if necessary. Winners are responsible for any taxes on their Award. Winners of Awards valued at $600 or more will be required to provide a completed IRS Form W-9 and will receive an IRS Form 1099.

Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, increase the value of any Award. Winners of Awards valued at $600 or more will be required to provide a completed IRS Form W-9 and will receive an IRS Form 1099.

7. Winner notification and verification

Winners will be announced during the Split Pay Party on Zoom on October 21, 2026. Potential winners who do not attend will be notified by email on or about October 22, 2026. All potential winners will also receive an email with next steps. If a Nominee was nominated by someone else, both the Nominee and the Nominator may be contacted.

Before receiving an Award, a potential winner must:

  • Respond to the notification email by October 27, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET
  • Confirm their eligibility, which may include signing a declaration of eligibility and liability release, and, for anyone joining the Split Pay Party on Zoom, a publicity release
  • Provide documentation of the bill identified in the nomination, if requested
  • Provide tax information, if required

These materials will be collected through a secure process, never through the public nomination form. Sponsor and Administrator will never ask for passwords or full account numbers by email.

If a potential winner cannot be reached, does not respond in time, is found ineligible, or does not comply with these rules, the Award may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected from the remaining eligible nominations.

8. Publicity

Nominations and Stories will not be published or shared publicly without the consent of the person involved.

The Split Pay Party on Zoom will be recorded. Recordings, including clips showing participants' names, images, voices, and likenesses, may be shared by Sponsor and Administrator on social media, in video content, and in advertising. Before joining, each participant will be asked to sign a publicity release. Availability to attend may be considered when selecting winners, as described in Section 5.

Winners may also be invited to take part in other publicity. Other publicity is optional and is not required to receive an Award, except where required by law.

9. General conditions

By entering, each Nominator and Nominee agrees to be bound by these rules and the decisions of Sponsor and Administrator, which are final.

Sponsor and Administrator may disqualify anyone who tampers with the entry process, submits false information, or acts in a disruptive or fraudulent manner. If the Campaign cannot run as planned because of fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor or Administrator, they may cancel, modify, or suspend the Campaign and select winners from the eligible nominations received before the event.

Sponsor and Administrator are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected nominations, or for technical, network, or computer failures of any kind.

10. Release and limitation of liability

By entering, each Nominator and Nominee releases Sponsor, Administrator, and their respective parents, affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any liability, claims, or damages arising from participation in the Campaign or the acceptance or use of any Award, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. Disputes

These rules are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from the Campaign will be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, in the state or federal courts located in Cobb County, Georgia.

12. Privacy

Information submitted in connection with the Campaign will be used as described in the Jazzy Mac Privacy Notice. By entering, you acknowledge that your nomination may be shared with Sponsor to judge, administer, and deliver Awards.

13. Social media platforms

This Campaign is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, YouTube, Instagram, Google, or Meta.
