This notice explains how Jazzy Mac ("we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information through JazzyMac.com, including our forms, giveaways, contests, nominations, and sponsored campaigns. Jazzy Mac is operated by JSDM Enterprises LLC.
Some campaigns are run in partnership with brand sponsors. Each campaign's official rules name its sponsor and any additional details that apply to it.
Information we collect
Information you provide
When you submit a form, enter a campaign, or contact us, we may collect:
- Your name, email address, and state or location
- Your answers to campaign questions, including stories or other details you choose to share
- Information about another person, if a campaign allows you to nominate or refer someone
- Your confirmations and your choice about receiving marketing emails
Information collected automatically
When you visit our site, we and our service providers may collect:
- The pages you visit and how you arrived, including campaign tracking tags (for example, whether you came from YouTube or Instagram)
- Device and technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and general location
- Information collected by cookies and similar technologies, including those used for spam protection and site analytics
Never submit Social Security numbers, bank or card numbers, passwords, or other sensitive financial information through our forms. We will never ask for these by email.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Run our campaigns, including reviewing entries, selecting winners, and delivering awards
- Verify eligibility and prevent fraud, spam, and duplicate entries
- Contact you about entries, campaigns, or requests you have made
- Understand how people find and use our site, and improve it
- Send updates and news, only if you opted in
- Comply with legal obligations
Stories and publicity
If a campaign asks you to share a story, we will not publish your name, anyone else's name, or the story itself without permission from the person involved, unless a campaign's official rules state otherwise and you agree to them.
If someone else submitted your information
Some campaigns allow people to nominate or refer others. If someone submitted your information and you want it removed, email privacy@jazzymac.com and we will delete it.
Winners
Campaign winners may be asked for additional information to verify eligibility and deliver awards, which may include information required for tax reporting. We collect that information separately and securely, never through our public forms.
How long we keep information
We keep campaign entries only as long as needed to run the campaign and handle any follow-up, and no longer than 12 months after the campaign ends, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. Winner records may be kept longer for legal, tax, or accounting purposes. If you opted in to email, we keep your contact information until you unsubscribe.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No online system is completely secure, which is why we ask you never to submit sensitive financial details.
Your choices and rights
- Marketing emails. Unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
- Access, correction, or deletion. Email privacy@jazzymac.com to request a copy of your information or ask us to correct or delete it.
- State privacy rights. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law. Contact us to exercise them. We will not discriminate against you for doing so.
Children
Our site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Our campaigns are generally open only to adults 18 and older, as stated in each campaign's official rules.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the date at the top shows when it was last updated.
